The prayer
Lord, my voice shalt thou hear in the morning. I direct my prayer to You first, and I will look up.
It is of Your mercies that I was not consumed. Your compassions fail not. They are new every morning. Great is Your faithfulness.
This is the day which You have made. I will rejoice and be glad in it.
Go before me today. Order my steps, guard my mouth, and use me for Your glory. In Jesus' name, Amen.
